Meeting
The meetings, which take place once a year, are held at a different institute each time so that the participants can get to know the institutes and their members better. The "hosts" have the opportunity to present several GIS projects. In addition, guest lectures on relevant GIS topics are organised.
EGREGIS is an informal get-together where you can also formulate your own needs and wishes. In order to be able to exchange important information also during the year, there is a
EGREGIS stands for ETH Group of Researchers using (Esri) GIS and was founded in February 2007. The user group is aimed at all ETH employees including research institutes (WSL, PSI, EMPA, EAWAG) who work with (Arc)GIS or are interested in it. In addition, AGROSCOPE is also integrated into this group.

The idea and the goals of EGREGIS are:
- the mutual exchange of important information within ETH concerning GIS and geodata;
- the exchange of information with Esri;
- the use of synergies;
- the coordination of further GIS training;
